Dr. Shillingford

Dr. Shillingford is a general surgeon who specializes in advanced laparoscopic and obesity surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of General Surgery.  Dr Shillingford graduated from the Universityof Michigan's Medical School in Ann Arbor. He then proceeded to his residency in general surgery at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. This was followed by a fellowship in advanced laparoscopic and obesity surgery at the renowned Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida.

Dr Shillingford has operating privileges at West Boca Medical Center, Coral Springs Medical Center, Northwest Medical Center and North Broward Medical Center.

Dr. Shillingford is dedicated to providing state of the art care technically and compassionately, with empathy and concern for the comfort and well-being of his patients and their families.

He is a member of ASMBS (American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery)
